
Trains can be robbed by robbing the individuals in a train car. Some stagecoaches have a lockbox on the exterior that can be broken open for random loot, and the vehicle can usually be taken to a Wagon Fence and sold provided there are no witnesses or pursuing law enforcement.

Stagecoaches and wagons can be robbed by incapacitating the drivers and guards, either by shooting them or leaping onto the moving stagecoach from horseback and throwing the drivers off. There is some potions and valuables as well as a shotgun in the basement.
Watson's Cabin, Big Valley - In northern Big Valley, the player can find the cabin that belongs to Mama Watson. There is also a Double-action Revolver hidden in a lockbox. After the mission, if the player returns and there are bandits in the house, Arthur must leave one alive and he will reveal the location of the money. They find a secret stash hidden in the wall. Lonnie's Shack, Scarlett Meadows - Sean MacGuire may invite Arthur to rob a group of bandits in Lonnie’s Shack in northern Scarlett Meadows. The Pum-action Shotgun can also be found in one of the bedrooms. After clearing out the homestead, they find a secret stash in the barn. Chez Porter, Grizzlies West - Javier Escuella may invite Arthur to rob Chez Porter in Grizzlies West, Ambarino. Some criminals can give you leads if you help them during a side mission or a member of the Van der Linde gang may invite you to join them in a robbery. This may provoke a hostile response from the target or, in crowded areas, attract law enforcement. Individuals can be robbed by targeting them and selecting the "Rob" option, which should be backed up by aiming a weapon at the individual. If the player robs someone where there are no eyewitnesses or Law Enforcement, then the player will not incur a bounty. When attempting to rob certain NPCs, the player may be fired upon by the NPC they're robbing, and/or by other NPCs nearby, who may try to aid the person being robbed. Aiming at the victim for too long causes them to start running. Simply lock onto the victim and press either "Triangle" or "Y" to attempt to rob them. It is up to the player to go out and discover them. Being a small western town, there are bound to be secrets the locals are hiding as well. While some surprises in the town can be found right away, others require players to progress through the story. Some people might try to rush through the town, but exploring it a bit could reveal unexpected results. In Red Dead Redemption 2, Valentine will be the first populated town players come across.
